Environmental Justice Mapping Tool

We’re charting a more equitable environmental future for our most vulnerable communities

The Elizabeth River Project is committed to bringing environmental equity and justice to historically under-resourced communities of color. Designed in collaboration with researchers from the Virginia Institute of Marine Science and the College of William & Mary, our mapping tool helps planners, nonprofits and other community partners incorporate environmental justice matters into their planning and restoration efforts. Give it a spin and explore everything from flood-prone communities and tree canopies to new restoration opportunities.
