October 24 – Falling for Trees: Join our education staff on a trip through the trees. Practice tree identification using simple tools and guides. Learn to read tree rings, collect fallen leaves to create crafts, create bark and leaf rubbings and discover how trees prepare for winter.
October 31 – Monarch Magic: Learn about the enchanting world of the monarch butterfly, play games to imitate the monarch migration pattern, explore their life cycle through nature themed artwork and learn how to create monarch habitat.
November 14 – Forest Friends and Creek Critters: Discover some of the park and creek critters during a mini BioBlitz through the park trails, gardens and creek!
November 21 – Fall Festival: Harvest native plant seeds, learn about the importance of native gardening, and celebrate the season with autumn themed games and art.
