Thank you to everyone who has installed barrels to capture water and reduce pollution in your home river! We are officially sold out of all rain barrels and will no longer be installing them. Thank you to the generous funders who made this cost share program possible including City of Norfolk, City of Chesapeake, City of Virginia Beach and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.

Long Term Barrel Maintenance

Live in Chesapeake or Virginia Beach? – Contact your local Soil and Water Conservation Representative to see if you are eligible for the 2023 Rain Barrel reimbursement. The Virginia Conservation Assistance Program will reimburse $4/gallon of rainwater storage. Contact your VCAP Representative to see if you qualify and if funding is still available.
