Floating or Raised Sheds

A floating or raised shed is less likely to be inundated when flood waters come. It’s important to keep items in your shed from becoming flooded, not only because of their value to you, but because the products stored in the shed can pollute the water (paint, gasoline, chemicals), taking harmful chemicals with it when waters retreat, or leaving surrounding soils contaminated.
