Rain Gardens

Rain gardens use amended soil and native plants to slow, absorb, and filter polluted runoff before it reaches the river, recharging the aquifer and cleaning the water along the way. On top of keeping polluted stormwater out of the river, it can also reduce ponding and flooding in your yard – a win-win for the river and you!
