Ashton Holliday-Goulart originally hails from West Virginia but has been living in Virginia on and off for about eight and a half years. Her ecological background is extremely diverse as she has studied mountainous and coastal regions in Virginia. Ashton received her bachelor’s in Horticulture from Ferrum College and received her Master’s in Natural Resources and Conservation from Virginia Tech. She has multiple years of experience working for the non-profit industry; starting her career as a Horticulturist for Norfolk Botanical Garden, to her most recent work with Atlanta Botanical Garden as a Conservation Botanist, and now as our Development Coordinator. Needless to say, she’s a lover of all things botanical, so feel free to ask her anything about plants! She is passionate about restoration and conservation and hopes to be able to contribute her expertise and knowledge to our team and community!
